COVID-19: Update – Keep calm and carry on!

In line with the current guidelines regarding the COVID-19 outbreak all face to face tutoring sessions have been temporarily suspended.

However, there are still many options available to ensure your child continues to build on their hard work and progress so far.

  • PRINTED PAPER-BASED PACK – pick up and drop off a printed pack of work from a box on my doorstep. Work will be marked and written feedback provided weekly.
  • CONTINUE WITH CURRENT 1-1 FORMAT with a 60 minute weekly video lesson 1-1 lessons will be delivered using an interactive video conferencing site/app called Zoom (which works in a similar way to Skype). Work will be sent to students using email, it doesn’t have to be printed but must be completed before the weekly video session. The 1-1 session will follow the same format as current lessons.
  • FOR CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE 11+ STUDENTS  a 90 minute weekly video lesson as with current sessions we will cover numerical reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, verbal reasoning and English. Tasks to be completed will be available via Google Classroom, where students can complete and submit work online. Tasks must be completed before the video session takes place. Students can also continue to use their own books and the 1-1 video session will be used to mark, review and support their learning.

I would be grateful if you could get back to me by Friday 27th March with the option you would prefer to go ahead with.  I will then get in touch with you all individually.

Please see the Payment Details page for revised payment options. If you wish to opt for the online video lessons I will need you to submit an online consent form.

Many thanks for all of your support so far. Stay safe,  Charn.
